Cardhia Smith, First Lady of The Empowerment Church, Ashburn VA, serves beside her husband, Pastor Tony Smith. Lady Cardhia Smith is a native of Loudoun County. She was born and raised in Leesburg, VA and graduated from Heritage High School in 2004. First Lady and Pastor Smith first met at The Empowerment Church in 2003. The two were joined together in marriage in 2004 and from that union, their son Xavier Malachi Smith was born.

First Lady's main passion is for the young children of God. She works with the ministries, such as the children's church and nursery, to impart sound morals, values and beliefs into the church's future leaders. The Music ministry is the First Lady's second passion. She believes that souls are gained through the musical word of God and that is why she joined the music ministry 14 years ago shortly after becoming a TEC member. She is also very instrumental in working with the young females in the ministry by lending a listening ear, chaperoning, or giving sound advice as well as mentoring. Lady Smith is also an entrepreneur. She owns and operates her own child day care.

First Lady is focused on using her God given gifts to continue advancing the Kingdom.
